Jake is an Investor at Susquehanna, where he focuses on early-stage climate technology investments. His current areas of interest include industrial decarbonization, energy systems, and carbon management, and he works across sourcing, diligence, and portfolio support.
Jake began his career in investment banking at Harris Williams, where he worked on M+A transactions in the eCommerce and EdTech sectors as part of the Technology, Media, and Telecom group. Following his time in banking, Jake co-founded Ruby’s Harmony, a music education technology startup focused on building a diverse and inclusive community through teaching and celebrating the influence of Black American music. The experience deepened his appreciation for mission-driven entrepreneurship and continues to inform how he evaluates early-stage teams and markets.
Jake received a BA in Economics and a minor in Computer Science from Claremont McKenna College. Originally a Bay Area native, now based in New York City, Jake spends his off-hours playing jazz piano, wandering into new neighborhoods without Google Maps, and quietly judging overpriced croissants.
